Meet Our Providers

Matias Quintanilla

MSN, APRN, FNP-BC

Matias Quintanilla grew up in Cedar City Utah. He has always had a passion for helping others and wanted to pursue a career in the medical field from an early age. He started his medical career at the age of 18 by getting his EMT Basic certification and shortly after joined the Utah Army National Guard as a combat medic. Matias served with the 2/222 FA headquarters battalion in Cedar City Utah. He was later deployed to Iraq with the triple duce from January 2005 to June 2006.

After returning from Iraq, he attended Southern Utah University and finished the prerequisites to enter the Paramedic Program at Dixie State University where he graduated as Paramedic in 2007. Matias worked Ground ambulance for five years he also gained Certification as a Critical Care Transport Paramedic.

In 2010 Matias Started flying as a flight paramedic in helicopters and fixed wing aircraft for Classic Lifeguard. While at Classic Lifeguard Matias became a company instructor for Advanced airway and ventilation techniques, and a simulation instructor teaching fellow coworkers in lifesaving procedures on a life like mannequin. He also gained a certification as a certified flight paramedic.

In 2015 Matias went back to school at Excelsior College and while working full time completed a paramedic to registered nurse bridge program. Matias graduated from Excelsior College with an associate in science as a registered nurse in 2019 and started working as a nurse in the Intensive Care Unit at Dixie Regional Medical center. He continued his education at Chamberlain University and Graduated with president’s honors in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

Matias continued his medical education at Chamberlain University to obtain his dream of becoming a medical practitioner. He graduated in 2023 with a Master of Science of Nursing as a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner and is pleased to be serving Southern Utah.

Matias enjoys spending time with his family and friends, especially when the activities involve the outdoors. He loves outdoor sports, shooting, Hiking, camping, and watching his kids play sports.

Bridget Quintanilla

MSN, APRN, FNP-BC

Bridget’s personal philosophy as a provider in healthcare is based on the beliefs that through the culmination of science, skill, and compassion she can meet patient centered objectives when caring for individuals, families, and the community. She has over 27 years of experience in the medical field.

Bridget graduated high school with honors in 1998 from Lincoln County High School where she received several scholarships to pursue her career in the medical field. She became certified as an EMT basic in 1998 where she ran ground ambulance while working full-time at a pediatric office. She received her radiology practical technician in 2003 from Dixie Applied Technology College and went on to work for an orthopedic surgeon. She graduated with honors in 2009 as a Paramedic from Dixie State College. She went on to become certified with her Critical Care Emergency Ground Transport Program (CCEMT-P) and earned her Flight Paramedic Certification (FP-C) in 2013. She worked as a flight paramedic for Classic Air Medical for the next several years. Bridget graduated with President’s honors and Summa Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Science in nursing in 2019 from Chamberlain University. Her nursing career started in an intermediate neuro unit where she worked as a registered nurse coordinator while floating to the ICU until 2023. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing in 2022 as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Chamberlain University. She is accredited through the American Nursing Credentialing Center (ANCC) with her FNP-BC.

When she is not working, she loves to spend time with her family. She enjoys music, fishing, and other outdoor activities that Southern Utah has to offer.
